Yes, we are in the middle of a recession, but going abroad on holiday gives everyone a thrill -if you can afford it that is. Where do you feel the need to go on vacation? Here are afew ideas to get the mind racing with possibilities.
Europe. France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Belguim, Denmark, Sweden -we could go on for awhile with this list. All the countries have its own history and culture, so decide what you need from your holiday to get the most out of it. Wanting to go for the clubs and nightlife? Go into the cities such as Madrid, Paris or Amsterdam to dance the night away. Feeling the need to go for a warmer European country to top up your tan? The south of France or Spain will be ideal. Each country has its benefits and attractions, so the first step has to be deciding what you want from your holiday.
North America. America has 50 states to choose from, each seemingly a different country unto themselves. Want to view America’s more glamourous side? LA and Las Vegas has the lights and glamour to keep you occupied. Feel a desire to go see how wild the west really was? Head on up to Texas. If your hobby happens to be history, then Washington D.C and Boston are great places to start. Be aware that at the moment the pound isnt at its strongest and you wont get as much money as you could hope for on the exchange rate.
Austrailia. For the more adventurous of us out there. Love your Sand, sun and sea? Where else but the land down under, where a cold day is very rare. New Zealand is also an option -2,000 miles away from Australia, so it isnt as warm or feature the creepy crawlies that like the hot climate over there.
Considered taking language courses for your holiday? Take French lessons for when you head into Paris.
